Skybus Virtual — Pathfinder
Skybus Virtual is a virtual airline (flight simulation group) operating an all-Airbus fleet across 142 daily flights in North America. SiteSparx built the internal Pathfinder crew center — the authenticated platform pilots use to manage their careers. The public marketing site at skybusva.com was built separately by another team.
Every screen. Every surface.

Skybus needed a single operations hub where pilots could log in, see live airspace conditions, review their personal flight history and stats, book and fly routes, file PIREPs (pilot reports), and interact with the broader airline structure — all wrapped in a dark, aviation-grade UI that felt more like a real airline dispatch tool than a hobby site.
We shipped Pathfinder — a dark-themed crew portal built on the phpVMS framework (Laravel + MySQL under the hood) with deep customizations on top of a custom theme layer. Features include pilot auth with VATSIM integration, an operational weather brief widget, live NAS (National Airspace System) delay monitoring, a pilot profile system with rank/fatigue tracking, fleet pages with A/B/C maintenance check schedules, PIREP filing with route maps and ACARS data capture, and a private admin section for crew scheduling and human resources.
